5 November 2008: Both Lone Star Scuba locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. We will be open from 10am to 3pm on the day before each of these holidays. We wish you and your families the best during the holiday season.

18 October 2008: DUI will be hosting a Demo Day at Clear Springs Scuba Park the weekend of November 15 - 16. This is a great way to test out a dry suit and see how nice it is to stay warm and dry during a dive. The ticket price is $8 when you pay in advance or $13 at the gate. Clear Springs will be offering a discounted park admission of $15 to those taking part in the Demo Day. 1 October 2008: We will be hosting a Halloween Diving Event at Clear Springs Scuba Park in Terrell, TX on Saturday November 2nd. We will begin at 2pm and will be hosting an underwater pumpkin carving contest, scavenger hunt, costume contest and haunted night dive. For more information please contact the Fort Worth location.

August 2008: Lone Star Scuba is proud to announce that the Fort Worth location is now a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center. With this accreditation level we are now able to train new PADI Instructors as well as Specialty Instructors and IDC Staff Instructors. With our Dallas location being a NAUI facility we can now train instructors for both agencies. For more information about becoming a SCUBA Instructor please contact us at either location.
