19 March 2010: Due to current weather predictions we will be canceling the Saturday portion of our Dive with Lone Star Scuba at Blue Lagoon in Huntsville, TX. We are still planning to dive on Sunday which looks to be a beautiful day.

10 March 2009: The next "Dive with Lone Star Scuba" Series will be on April 4 and 5 at Blue Lagoon in Huntsville, TX. This is a very fun rock quarry and would be a great location to get dives towards your "Dive Around Texas" Program. Chris DeClerk will be our trip lead for that weekend and has said he would love to teach any specialties that you might be interested in taking.

4 February 2009: Our next "Dive with Lone Star Scuba" Series will be at Balmorhea State Park in west Texas on February 28 and March 1. This is a spring fed lake with water temps at a constant low 70s. This is a great place to complete your Altitude Specialty as well.

5 November 2008: Both Lone Star Scuba locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. We will be open from 10am to 3pm on the day before each of these holidays. We wish you and your families the best during the holiday season.

18 October 2008: DUI will be hosting a Demo Day at Clear Springs Scuba Park the weekend of November 15 - 16. This is a great way to test out a dry suit and see how nice it is to stay warm and dry during a dive. The ticket price is $8 when you pay in advance or $13 at the gate. Clear Springs will be offering a discounted park admission of $15 to those taking part in the Demo Day. August 2008: Lone Star Scuba is proud to announce that the Fort Worth location is now a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center. With this accreditation level we are now able to train new PADI Instructors as well as Specialty Instructors and IDC Staff Instructors.
